GUIDELINES FOR PRESENTATIONS

Please read the following guidelines carefully before preparing your presentation for IECES 2026. A clear, engaging, and well-structured presentation will help the audience understand your research and participate effectively in the discussion.

PRESENTATION FORMAT

Presenters are encouraged to prepare slides to support their presentations. Slides may be prepared using Microsoft PowerPoint or another compatible presentation program.

Please also save a backup copy of your presentation as a PDF file. Onsite participants are advised to bring their presentations in both PowerPoint and PDF formats.

ONSITE PRESENTATIONS

Onsite presenters must upload their presentations to the conference computer before the beginning of their sessions. This will help ensure a smooth transition between presentations and prevent delays.

Presenters are also advised to bring a backup copy of their presentation on a USB drive or another portable storage device.

ONLINE PRESENTATIONS

Online presenters should ensure that they have a stable internet connection and that their microphone, camera, and screen-sharing settings are working properly before joining the session.

Presenters should join their assigned online session at least 10 minutes before the scheduled starting time.

PRESENTATION TIME

Each presentation slot is 15 minutes in total:

10 minutes for the presentation
5 minutes for questions and discussion

Presenters are expected to remain within the allocated time. Session Chairs may conclude presentations that exceed the time limit to ensure that the conference programme proceeds as scheduled.

SLIDE PREPARATION

The first slide should include:

Presentation title
Full name(s) of the author(s)
Institutional affiliation(s)
Email address of the corresponding author

The remaining slides should present the purpose, methodology, findings, discussion, and conclusions of the study in a clear and logical order.

Presenters are advised to:

Use clear and readable fonts.
Avoid placing excessive text on slides.
Use concise statements rather than long paragraphs.
Include relevant tables, charts, or images where appropriate.
Use high-contrast colours to ensure readability.
Limit the number of slides according to the allocated presentation time.
Proofread all slides before the presentation.

Slides should support the presentation rather than contain the entire speech. Presenters are encouraged to engage with the audience instead of reading directly from their slides.

CERTIFICATES

Certificates of presentation will be issued to participants who complete their presentations in accordance with the conference programme. Further information regarding certificate distribution will be announced during the conference.

We hope you have a productive and enjoyable conference experience.
